No family celebration happens in our household without cheesecake (and Champagne!). It had to be baked, NY-style and quite often I make two. Here's the recipe from by book, We Love Food.
This is what you can swap:
- for a thicker base, add 1/2 packet of Scotch Finger biscuits. If I'm making two cakes, I do 1 packet as gingernut, 1 packet Scotch Finger.
- rosewater for 2 tsp cinnamon
- serve with fresh berries, passionfruit and chopped mint
