Cooking in the Fire Pit with the Bosnian Sutch

We were given a Bosnian Sutch from my in-laws when they lived over in Bosnia for a while. You see the Bosnians cooking with these huge pots, covered with coals at many restaurants with open fires in the centre.

It's the perfect way to feed a crowd. Outdoors. One Pot. Need I say more?

You simply we throw different cuts of meat (chops, sausages, chicken, pork), chunky vegetables (carrots, potatoes, garlic, turnip, onions), tins of tomatoes, herbs from the garden and a few pinches of smoked paprika.

Add the lid and metal ring and backfill with coals and just sit around the fire and relax for a few hours.
